RemoteApp Tool gives you the possibility of running applications remotely. You can have one or more applications on another computer, on your local network, and run them from your own machine. The software places a wide range of configuration options at your disposal, so you can manage and run your remote apps exactly the way you want. In the right conditions, setting everything up can be quite easy and it can be done without needing any advanced knowledge or skills.

The software is offered free of charge, without any hidden fees or restrictions. It works on Windows XP and all later versions, up to Windows 10, but certain editions, like Home or Professional are not supported. Downloading and installing RemoteApp Tool is a simple operation and it should take only a few seconds, even on older computers.

RemoteApp Tool comes with a compact user interface, on which you have to import applications through a standard browsing option. Once an application is imported, you may create a client connection, by clicking a button in the lower right corner of the window. This will bring up a large options panel, on which you can make a wide range of tweaks.

The available client connection options can help you prepare for various situations. The software lets you specify server addresses and ports, set up file associations, it can be set to use an RD gateway and more. It is also possible to tweak a few properties for each application separately, which includes file type association.

Establishing a client connection involves creating a special file. When your settings are complete, you only need to click a button and specify an output path and your file will be made available right away. At this point, you only need to transfer the file to the client computer and run it. This will launch the targeted application on the client, without the need to have that application installed on the client.

With RemoteApp Tool, you only need to have your applications installed once and you will be able to run them on any other computer on your network.

Pros

You can run applications remotely. It places a wide range of configuration options at your disposal. The software is free, it can be installed quickly and it doesn't use too many resources.

Cons

You won't be able to create client connections for certain Windows editions.
